Why dream yoga?
Because we spend a third of our lives sleeping, so why not make good use of that time?
Because if we come to think of it, our waking lives are just as much a blur, lacking in detail just like our dreams at times. Only remembering novel, exciting, and adverse events that leave strong vivid impressions. So increased awareness of our dreams can make us more mindful and present in the waking world and vise verse, cultivating a critical mind and testing our reality when awake will flourish awareness in the dream world.
Because lucid dreaming is a route to enlightenment. It is a safe place for letting go of the idea of self. In a dream we can easily be somebody, nobody and everybody. There are no solid limitations, no real boundaries, so we can expand and reach our full potential. Our imagination is our limit.
Because dreams can be excellent mirrors, revealing stored unperceived negative emotion.
Because dreams can be healing.
Because dreams are beautiful.
